Meet Our Partners

At Bytemark we believe that Linux and the Free Software ecosystem play a vital part in underpinning an open, co-operative and global internet. We are proud to give back and sponsor Manjaro to publishing free software using our network. Bytemark’s datacentre uses fresh-air cooling, not common in the UK. Each of its servers is built using efficient power supplies as certified by the 80plus scheme, which requires power supplies to be at least 80% efficient at up to 100% rated load. Over the years, we’ve designed our own national network, built our own cloud hosting platform and now we’ve set our sights on developing a managed Kubernetes service. Our customer base has grown with us, spanning hobbyists to multi-million-pound businesses.

We’re rebels. We’re misfits. But mostly, we’re software liberators. And we’re very, very good at what we do. We have to be. Lots of developers work with open source, but only a tiny fraction of those are good enough to get software that was designed for one platform to work on another one. We invented CrossOver software - a completely unique approach to cross-platform compatibility that does not require dual-boot or another OS license. We launched PortJump to help app and game developers broaden their market beyond Windows® users. And we launched ExecMode to help Enterprise organizations solve really ugly technical challenges.

Working closely together with Manjaro to bring evolution into computing by giving the Linux world a new face and operating experience.

At the core of our philosophy is the notion that PINE64 is a community platform. A simplistic point of view, often offered up and referenced online, is that ‘PINE64 does hardware while the community does the software’. While this depiction is not inaccurate, it is also a gross oversimplification. The fact that PINE64 is community driven doesn’t simply entail a one-way reliance on the community or partner projects for software support; it means that the community gets to actively shape the devices, as well as the social platform, of PINE64 from the ground up. The goal is to deliver ARM64 devices that you really wish to engage with and a platform that you want to be a part of. Pairing up with Manjaro as OS-Partner, we bring together nice devices with focus of privacy for the user.

Our partnership with Manjaro is beneficial not to just us, but our users as well. With our aligned interest of making open-source software more accessible, the combination of Manjaro and Star Labs hardware creates an unheard-of experience - seamless access to cutting-edge hardware and software. Manjaro is eager and dedicated to continually improving and adding more features, and continue to excel with the delivery of these. We’ve worked together and will continue to do so, for many hardware related aspects.

At TUXEDO Computers you don’t only get individually configurable Linux No‍te‍books und PCs, but also hardware that is perfectly optimized for running Linux! Besides the technical aspects, the work of the community is the most important aspect. In Manjaro TUXEDO Computers has found a partner that is both professional and committed. This partnership and with it the work of the Manjaro Community shall be supported. Therefore TUXEDO Computers is directly involved in the work of the Manjaro community, supporting developers with own resources.
